On June 7, 2026, the Eastern Medical Campus of the International School of Medicine, International University of Kyrgyzstan, hosted a meeting between students and a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic — Police Major Aitbaeva I.K., Senior Operative Officer of the Service for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking.
The meeting focused on drug abuse prevention, legal responsibility for drug-related offenses, personal safety, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
During the session, Major Aitbaeva discussed current challenges associated with the spread of illegal substances and outlined the measures taken by state authorities to prevent such offenses. Particular attention was given to increasing legal awareness among young people and encouraging responsible decision-making.
