Mission of the Dean’s Office
The mission of the Dean’s Office is to ensure the effective, high-quality functioning and strategic development of all areas of activity of the International School of Medicine at IUK. This is achieved through efficient organization of the educational process, coordination of scientific research, and integration of clinical practice, aimed at training highly qualified, competent, and socially responsible specialists in the field of public health protection and promotion.
Objectives of the Dean’s Office
- To create comfortable conditions for learning
- To provide academic support to students
- To guide students throughout their educational pathway
- To assist in resolving organizational and academic issues
- To contribute to the development of professional and personal qualities of future medical specialists
Responsibilities of the Dean’s Office
- Organization of the educational process: scheduling, monitoring attendance and academic performance, organizing examination sessions
- Academic advising: консультации on academic matters, transfers, reinstatement, and academic leave
- Student support: assistance with personal and social issues, adaptation of first-year students, prevention of academic backlogs
- Documentation management: issuing certificates, references, internship placements, and maintaining student records
- Extracurricular development: support for student initiatives, research clubs, events, volunteering, and sports activities
- Discipline and internal regulations: ensuring compliance with rules and academic discipline, responding to violations
- Student communication: timely dissemination of important academic and organizational information
- Collaboration with faculty and parents: interaction in the interests of students’ academic success and personal development
