International cooperation

International cooperation is an integral part of the ISM activities, aimed at attracting foreign citizens for training, ensuring academic mobility and improving the qualifications of academic staff at the international level. The main task is to establish international contacts with universities in different countries, provide foreign students with passport and visa services and receive documents.

The development of international relations in the activities of educational institution is an integral factor in growth, exchange of knowledge and experience. In this connection, one of the main functions of ISM is to increase the effectiveness of international relations of the university with other universities and research and educational centers, including academic mobility programs. In view of this, in a short period of time, in order to develop international cooperation, international agreements were signed with 25 leading universities in the world

History of ISM IUK

In Islamabad, the Protocol of the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was signed, it was recommended to create KPIIMS on the basis of the International University of Kyrgyzstan and the Riphah International University (Pakistan).

Cooperation agreement has been signed with the Riphah International University (RIU), recommended by the Higher Education Commission and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council for the joint creation of the Kyrgyz-Pakistan International Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIIMS) and the development of double diploma program.

2018, it is creation of the International School of Medicine (ISM), license for the right to conduct educational activities in the specialty “General Medicine” (License № LD 180000058, registration number 18/0017). After agreeing on all issues on the establishment of the Institute, in the ministries and departments of Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, ISM will be transformed into KPIIMS with the issuance of double diplomas.

 On December 13, 2019, an official visit to the President of the World Federation of Medical Education, Professor David Gordon in Bishkek, within the framework of which a regional international meeting “Prospects for the development of medical education in the Central Asian region” was held. The problems and prospects of the development of medical education in the Central Asian region are discussed, in accordance with world trends and standards recommended by the World Federation of Medical Education.
