Goals:
The main goal of the International Sector is to organize and coordinate the participation of ISM IUK in international cooperation programs aimed at improving the quality of educational programs, strengthening research and educational potential and increasing the international prestige of ISM IUK.
Sector objectives:
– involvement of teaching staff in international cooperation;
– participation in bilateral and multilateral exchange programs for students, graduates, doctoral students, teaching and research workers;
– conducting joint scientific research, conferences and other events;
– organizing internships for ISM IUK employees abroad;
– development of proposals and coordination of the work of structural divisions of ISM IUK for signing international agreements in the field of education, as well as scientific activities;
– inclusion of international components in all areas (educational, scientific, etc.) of the activities of the ISM IUK.

The international cooperation
International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of ISM, aimed at attracting foreign citizens for training, ensuring academic mobility and improving the qualifications of teaching staff at the international level. The main task is to establish international contacts with universities in various countries, provide foreign students with passport and visa services and receive documents.
The development of international relations in the activities of an educational institution is an integral factor in growth, exchange of knowledge and experience. In this connection, one of the main functions of ISM is to increase the effectiveness of international relations of the university with other universities and research and educational centers, including academic mobility programs. With this in mind, in a short period of time, in order to develop international cooperation, international agreements were signed with 25 leading universities in the world.
History of the creation of ISM IUK
In Islamabad, the Protocol of the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was signed, it was recommended to create a KPMIMN on the basis of the International University of Kyrgyzstan and the International University of Reef (Pakistan).
A Cooperation Agreement was signed with Reef International University (IRU), recommended by the Higher Education Commission and the Pakistani Medical and Dental Council for the joint creation of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani International Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIMMN) and the development of a double degree program.
2018 – creation of the International School of Medicine (ISM), license for the right to conduct educational activities in the specialty “General Medicine” (License No. LD 180000058, registration number 18/0017). After agreeing on all issues on the establishment of the Institute, in the ministries and departments of Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, ISM will be transformed into KPMIMN with the issuance of double diplomas.
December 13, 2019 an official visit to the President of the World Federation of Medical Education, Professor David Gordon in Bishkek, within the framework of which a regional international meeting “Prospects for the development of medical education in the Central Asian region” was held. The problems and prospects for the development of medical education in the Central Asian region are discussed, in accordance with world trends and standards recommended by the World Federation of Medical Education.
