The information and educational platform “Library” – a single platform of research libraries in the structures of the Academic Consortium “International University of Kyrgyzstan” (AC “IUK”), reflects their activities and information and educational library resources. It is a single access point to its own electronic resources of IUK libraries and the resources of the largest international holders of electronic collections of research and technical information
Reading room
The reading room of the Eastern Medical Campus is part of the Research Library of the International University of Kyrgyzstan. The reading room provides library and information support for educational and research processes by forming, systematizing, storing the library fund and providing it for use by students, professors and master’s students in the conditions of using modern technologies. The main organizational forms of using the reading room of the Eastern Medical Campus are the ability to quickly access information as in print, and in electronic form, there are places for individual work, zones for communication in the group, new computers and racks with the latest medical literature, and the possibility of independent work for students, undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, researchers and other categories of university staff. The main task of the Reading room is the qualitative formation of a fund of information resources in accordance with the educational and scientific activities of the university, the expansion and improvement of the quality of library and bibliographic information services, the organization of access to licensed research and educational online resources, the introduction of modern library and information technologies in all areas of the library and the formation of user information culture, search skills and rational use of information resources.
