In our department, you will be able to receive a quality education that, when combined with personal characteristics such as diligence, ability to focus, high concentration and a tendency to cool decision-making, will create the image of the ideal doctor.

The profession of doctor is more than just training in specific actions, skills and knowledge. It is a person’s vocation, his or her purpose and place in life. Fundamental knowledge obtained at the department, you will be able to use in the clinic, in research work.

The Department of “Anatomy” was established on 1 October 2020. By the Rector’s order №124 of NCEI ESPC “IUK» from 01.10.2020. Until 2020-2021 academic year the functions of the chair were performed by: the chair of “Fundamental Disciplines”.

In our department, students in semesters 1 and 2 study normal anatomy and histology. Students in semesters 4 and 5 study clinical anatomy and histology and topographical anatomy. Students in Semester 7 study operative surgery. Classes are held in the morphological building of MSM. The department staff and students take an active part in international and interuniversity symposia, conferences, Olympiads.

Goals and objectives of the department

  • providing quality professional education based on a combination of fundamental, highly qualified teaching staff;
  • creating favorable conditions to meet the needs of students in acquiring knowledge, skills and professional skills;
  • training of qualified specialists with deep theoretical knowledge and sufficient professional skills;
