The purpose of the Dean’s Office of the ISM IUK is to ensure successful educational and cultural adaptation of foreign students, as well as to provide them with quality education in accordance with the requirements of medical practice. The Dean’s Office aims to create a supportive and inspiring educational environment that promotes the professional development of foreign students and their successful entry into the global medical community.
Purpose of the dean's office:
- guarantee of high-quality medical education that meets international standards and requirements;
- providing all necessary academic and administrative support;
- providing opportunities for professional development and practical training of students;
- improving intercultural understanding and interaction among students and Dean’s Office staff.
Dean's Office Objectives:
- Adaptation of international students: Assistance in the adaptation of new students to life and study in Kyrgyzstan, including assistance with housing, familiarization with the culture and rules of the university;
- Study support: Organization and coordination of the educational process of foreign students, including monitoring attendance, providing advice to students on the educational process, planning of academic activities, selection of courses and disciplines, etc.;
- Educational Support: Organizing and conducting activities to support international students in learning medical knowledge in English;
- Counseling and support: Providing counseling by supervisors to international students on various issues related to studies, adaptation, health, etc.;
- Organization of events: Organizing cultural, educational and social events to integrate international students into the university community and local society;
- Post-graduation support: Providing necessary documents that may be useful in continuing education, as well as keeping in touch with them through the Alumni Association.
