About the department:
The faculty and staff in our department are dedicated to helping our students achieve their goals. We believe in providing a broad, rigorous academic foundation that includes clinical observations and hands-on learning opportunities.
The department teaches ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, nursing, physiotherapy, physical therapy, physical therapy, dentistry, neurology with a course of neurosurgery and medical genetics.
The aim of our department is to create a favorable environment to meet the students’ need to acquire knowledge, skills and professional skills;
- training of qualified specialists with deep theoretical knowledge and sufficient professional skills;
- Improving the qualification level of the members of the department;
- development and implementation of modern bases of scientific organisation of the educational process and introduction of new technologies of teaching and education;
- quality organisation and conduct of classes, practical training and independent work of students;
- formation of individual and alternative training programmes, etc.
We involve students in various research initiatives and social activities.
Objectives of the department:
- Training a specialist physician who is able and willing to provide highly skilled medical care.
- To successfully carry out all activities in accordance with the speciality – Surgery.
- To form a graduate who has successfully mastered the system of knowledge, skills, abilities, skills, providing the ability and willingness to use modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of patients.
