Day of the State Language at the International School of Medicine

Today, September 23, 2024, the Department of Humanities and Natural Sciences, in collaboration with the Student Support and Extracurricular Affairs Department, held a festive event dedicated to the Day of the State Language.

Every nation’s language is unique. It is often said that “Language is the face of the people and its wealth.” Knowledge of one’s native language is a sign of respect for one’s nation and roots. To celebrate this, a festive concert was organized for students, featuring participants from the first, second, and third semesters of the “General Medicine” program, as well as first-semester students from the “Nursing” program.

The celebration included songs, poetry, and proverbs in the Kyrgyz language performed by students from Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. A beautiful Kyrgyz dance by first- and second-semester female students captivated everyone, and the lively performance of “Akyia” left all guests with unforgettable emotions. The event concluded with the song “Kyrgyzstanym.” The festive atmosphere was filled with friendship and unity.

It is worth noting that such an event is held annually at the International School of Medicine to preserve the native language and cultivate youth in the spirit of patriotism, love for their homeland, and tolerance.

We congratulate all faculty and students on this holiday!
