On September 23, 2024, a seminar organized by representatives of IFOM (International Foundations of Medicine) took place at the Morphological Campus of ISM IUK. Students from the 3rd, 4th, 9th, and 10th semesters had the opportunity to learn about the key aspects of the IFOM exam and its significance for building a career in medicine.
During the seminar, IFOM representatives provided detailed information about the exam format, criteria, and requirements, as well as how successfully passing the IFOM can help overcome barriers on an international level. They emphasized that the exam is an essential step in helping students adapt to international medical standards, which is necessary for their further education and professional activities abroad.
In an active Q&A session, IFOM representatives offered students the chance to ask questions about exam preparation and career prospects. This contributed to a deeper understanding of the IFOM concept and its role in the international medical community.
Students of ISM IUK showed great interest in the discussed topic and actively participated in the dialogue, indicating a high level of engagement among future medical professionals in issues related to their professional development.
