On October 31, 2024, the Student Council of ISM IUK, in collaboration with the Department of Surgical Diseases, the Student Support and Extracurricular Activities Department and the “Together Against Cancer” foundation, represented by its director Gulmira Abdrazakova, organized a seminar titled “Breast Cancer Awareness.” The event aimed to raise awareness about this disease, its types, causes, and diagnosis, and to provide training on breast self-examination techniques for use at home.
As part of the event, a quiz was held for 5th, 6th, and 7th-semester students to deepen their knowledge and awareness of the disease. At the conclusion, participants, faculty, and students were presented with certificates and gifts from the university.
