On April 30, 2025, the International School of Medicine of IUK hosted an educational seminar on the topic: “Combating Corruption, Illegal Migration, Fraud, Extremism, Terrorism, and Ensuring Information Security in the Student Environment.”
The aim of the event was to enhance students’ legal and informational awareness, and to foster a conscious attitude toward issues of personal and public safety. Students actively participated in the seminar by preparing presentations and a themed video related to the announced topic.
Honored guests of the seminar included representatives of the Department for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Bishkek City Police Department, as well as legal affairs experts. The speakers addressed key aspects of preventing legal violations, shared real-world threats and strategies to counter them, and answered students’ questions.
At the end of the event, letters of appreciation were presented to the guests, and the most active participants received incentive prizes.
The seminar served as a meaningful platform for knowledge and experience exchange, contributing to the creation of a safe, lawful, and resilient student environment.
