On May 25, 2023, the Department of Fundamental Disciplines of the International School of Medicine at IUK is organizing the Olympiad in the subject of “General and Clinical Biochemistry” among the 2nd and 3rd-semester students of the “Medicine” program with English as the language of instruction.
The participation format for the Olympiad is- offline.
The working language of the Olympiad is- English.
Date and time: May 25, 2023, 10:00 AM.
Venue: Educational and Morphological Center of ISM at IUK (Bishkek, 100/1 Lev Tolstoy Street floor 5, room 501).

Olympiad tasks, model answers, and grading criteria are prepared by the instructors of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines at ISM, IUK. The questions are of an advanced level of difficulty. Each task is accompanied by a brief instruction for its completion. The
Olympiad consists of 6 rounds:
First round: “Business Card.” Team introduction video on the topic “My Team.”
Second round: Creative homework assignment on the topic “Mechanism of action and function of insulin.”
Third round: Captain’s competition. Quick-fire questions.
Fourth round: “Four Pictures – One Word” quiz.
Fifth round: Evaluation of practical skills: “Guess the Substance.”
Sixth round: Knowledge contest “Did You Know?”
