The International University of Kyrgyzstan is proud to announce an important milestone in international academic recognition. During an official visit to China, the Rector of ISM IUK, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Asylbek Aidaraliev, was awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) — one of China’s leading universities.
The awarding ceremony took place on May 17, 2025, at the Xi’an Jiaotong University campus. President Zhang Lijun of XJTU presented Professor Aidaraliev with an honorary badge and certificate, highlighting his significant contributions to the fields of human ecology, sustainable development in mountainous regions, and international scientific cooperation.
This honorary title not only recognizes Professor Aidaraliev’s academic achievements but also symbolizes the strengthening of academic ties between Kyrgyzstan and China. It paves the way for new opportunities in joint research and educational projects, academic exchange, and further development of bilateral collaboration in higher education.
