On November 27, 2024, the Science Sector and the Department of Student Support and Extracurricular Work of the International School of Medicine together with partners “Educational advisor Pvt. LTD” held a “Seminar on the development strategy of scientific research: New Horizons of academic Excellence”, dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development.
The purpose of the seminar was to raise students’ awareness of the importance of writing research papers.
The seminar was attended by teachers and students of leading medical universities, such as ISM IUK, KSMA named after I.K. Akhunbayev, Ala-Too International University, ISHM and KRSU named after Yeltsin.
The seminar was divided into segments and devoted to fundamental scientific writing, methods, discussion of results and revision of the manuscript for submission.
The seminar was opened by Prof. Akmatova E.K., Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at the Moscow State Medical University, who stressed the importance of conducting scientific research in shaping the future of medicine and the academic environment, creating a platform for academic cooperation and innovation.
Invited lecturers from various organizations spoke: Muaz Rak Chaudhary, researcher at the University of Chicago, USA; Karimov Myrza, Head of the Cooperative Education Program at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Central Asia.
The seminar was attended by:

* Muaz Chaudhry (“The Future in Research: Transforming Lives through Evidence-based Solutions. Ways of clinical and medical research”)
The workshop participants gained practical knowledge in hypothesis development, research design and data analysis, as well as participated in interactive sessions.
The seminar ended with an award ceremony and the launch of the Research Community, a dynamic platform for further cooperation.
The landmark event confirms the commitment of ISM IUK to the development of academic excellence and the development of innovations in scientific research.
