Третий тур:

  1. Задание на знание анатомических структур, элементы строения кости на макете (один представитель команды принимает участие);
  2. Задание на знание гистологических препаратов (один представитель команды принимает участие);
  3. Умения и техника накладывания различных вариантов швов и вязания узлов (два представителя команды).

Председатель оргкомитета:

Зав.кафедрой «Макро и Микроанатомия», к.м.н., доцент Акматов Н.А

Характеристика заданий

Задание на знание терминов (knowing of anatomical terms task)

Example: fossa is an anatomical pit or depression

ЭПОНИМЫ В АНАТОМИИ (knowing of eponyms task)

Пример: The duct of Wirsung (the main pancreatic duct) was first reported in an etching by Johann Georg Wirsung (1589-1643), a German-Italian anatomist.

The accessory pancreatic duct of Santorini is named after Giovanni Domenico Santorini (1681-1737), an Italian professor of medicine.

CLINICAL THINKING

  1. Example: Uveitis is an inflammatory condition of the eye’s uveal coat often associated with systemic inflammatory disorders. Uveitis can be further specified as anterior, intermediate, posterior, or panuveitis based on the areas of the uvea affected. Which of the following structures of the uvea would most likely be affected in posterior uveitis?

Answer:

The choroid is one of the three components of the vascular, pigmented uvea that spans from the posterior extreme of the eye anteriorly toward the ciliary body. This structure is the only aspect of the uvea that lies in the posterior compartment of the eye and is the structure inflamed in posterior uveitis.

Example for the answer to situation task (histology)

The cell, located in the ganglion, has a long dendrite going to the intestinal mucosa, where it ends with a receptor, the axon is part of the posterior roots of the spinal cord. The cell is of the pseudo-unipolar type.

What is the name of the ganglion? The value of the cell?

Answer- Spinal ganglion, a pseudo-unipolar cell carries an impulse from the intestine to the spinal cord or along the posterior cord to the medulla oblongata.

ЗАДАНИЕ НА ЗНАНИЕ АНАТОМИЧЕСКИХ СТРУКТУР, ЭЛЕМЕНТЫ
СТРОЕНИЯ КОСТИ НА МАКЕТЕ

Указать анатомическую структуру (showing of anatomical features task, just one student from the team is participating)

Answer: Cricothyroid muscle

Knowing of histological slides (only one student from the team is participating)

Example for the answer of slides

Answer – The cortex of the kidney

Description- Stain: hematoxylin-eosin.

At a low magnification of the microscope, a capsule covering the kidney is visible from the surface. Under the capsule is a cortical substance, the most striking feature of which is the presence of renal (Malpighian) bodies (capillary glomeruli surrounded by a two-layer capsule). The bodies are round in

shape and have a high content of cells. In the cortical substance, variously cut convoluted tubules of nephrons (proximal and distal) and long straight tubules — collecting ducts that descend into the medulla and with the tubules of the loop of Henle form brain rays are visible. There are only straight tubules in the medulla: sections of the loops of Henle (thin descending and wide ascending) and collecting ducts. It can also be seen that the medulla has the shape of a pyramid. The pyramid protrudes into the renal calyx with its papilla, covered with transitional epithelium. Under high magnification in the renal bodies of the cortex, a capillary glomerulus is distinguished, in which the endothelial cells of the capillaries and erythrocytes located in their lumens are detected. The capillary glomerulus is surrounded by a two-layer Bowman-Shumlyansky capsule. The inner leaf of the capsule is indistinguishable under light microscopy. It surrounds each capillary and is formed by large epithelial cells — podocytes, lying on a common basement membrane with the endothelium. Between the capillaries, in areas not covered by the inner leaf of the capsule, there are mesangial (intravascular) cells: smooth muscle type mcsangiocytcs produce an intercellular matrix that fills the intercapillary space, and are also able to contract and stimulate glomerular blood flow; mcsangiocytcs of the macrophage type arc involved in immune inflammatory processes in the glomeruli. The thin outer layer of the capsule is formed by squamous epithelium. Between the inner and outer sheets, the cavity of the capsule is visible in the form of a narrow slit, which passes into the lumen of the proximal tubule. The proximal convoluted tubules arc formed by a single-layer cuboidal epithelium, the lumen is narrow and irregularly shaped, the cytoplasm of the cells is oxyphilic, opaque, and foamy; on the apical surface of the cells, there is a brush border (microvilli), in the basal part of the cells there is a striation due to the folds of the plasmalemma and the presence of mitochondria. The distal convoluted tubules are formed by low prismatic epithelium, their diameter is slightly less than the proximal ones, the lumen is wider and smoother, the cytoplasm of the cells is light and transparent, there is no brush border, but there is a basal striation. Arcuate arteries and veins are visible on the border between the cortical and medulla.
