AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE ON THE TOPIC WAS HELD AT THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MEDICINE OF THE IUK: “EMOTIONAL BURNOUT — PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS”

On June 16, 2022, An International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic was held in the Morphological Center of ISM IUK: “Emotional burnout — problems and solutions”, organized by the Department of Fundamental Disciplines.

The conference was attended by: M.G. Chukhrova – MD, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy, and Jurisprudence of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, students from the B.N. Yeltsin KRSU, IHSM, I.K. Akhunbayev KSMU, as well as teachers of the ISM IUK departments: “Fundamental Disciplines”, “Public Health”, “Micro- and macroanatomy”, “Pathology”, a total of 60 reports were presented at the conference.

The main objectives of the conference were to discuss issues of emotional burnout among students, teachers, doctors, and medical staff; proposals for effective emotion management and prevention of burnout among university teachers, students, doctors, and medical staff; development of new positive habits among teachers and other categories of the target audience in order to improve emotional and psychological state; prevention of possible conflicts in a team among teaching staff, students, doctors, etc., taking into account their psychological state.

The reports presented for discussion showed a high interest of all participants of the conference in raising problematic issues and offering their points of view on reducing the impact of emotional burnout on mental health.

Raising an urgent topic stimulated the cognitive interest of teachers and students to deepen knowledge on the above issues and the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge gained in practice to maintain health.

The conference was held in three sections. As a result of the conducted scoring of performances in all sections, the results were as follows:

First places: The International Higher School of Medicine and the International School of Medicine of IUK;

Runners-up: B.N. Yeltsin KRSU and the International School of Medicine of IUK;

Third places: ISM IUK (Tokmok Campus) and the International School of Medicine IUK;

The winners were awarded diplomas of 1-3 degrees and certificates for cash prizes.

The other participants of the conference were awarded T-shirts, with the logo of ISM IUK, as well as other valuable prizes.
