On December 20, 2023, the Department of Surgical Diseases in collaboration with the Student Council, with the assistance of the Student Support and Extracurricular Activities Department at the Simulation Centre of the University Hospital IUK “Amanat Hospital” – was organized a 1-day seminar on “Improving Surgical Skills” for the students of the 10th semester.
This event aimed to improve the previously acquired knowledge and skills in surgical disciplines, as well as to prepare students for the upcoming state examination.
The workshop was based on 5 main stations where the faculty members demonstrated basic surgical skills such as suturing, surgical knots, laparoscopic techniques, and many more.
This was a great opportunity for students to prepare for success in the state exam.
The 30 most active students were awarded with certificates and memorable gifts.
We wish all the students of the 10th semester to pass the state exam perfectly and become worthy specialists.
