At the IUK International School of Medicine, the residency training process is implemented by the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (MAPE ISM IUK)
The residency is part of a multilevel system of higher professional education for medical with the approved program of medical specialties.
Education and training of residents is carried out in accordance with the approved programs of postgraduate professional education. Training is conducted under the supervision of highly qualified, scientifically qualified specialists from clinical departments at leading medical institutions.

Areas of training for postgraduate education (residency) and terms of study:
- 050 Cardiology (cardiologist) – 3 years of training
- 149 Endocrinology (endocrinologist) – 3 years of training
- 128 Traumatology and orthopedics (traumatologist and orthopedist) – 3 years of training
- 143 Surgery (surgeon) – 3 years of training
- 084 Public health (doctor of public health) – 2 years of training
Issuance of a certificate upon completion.
Procedure and terms of enrollment in the MAPE ISM IUK residency program:
- Admission to the MAPE ISM IUK residency program is from June 1 to June 30, 2023.
- Education and training are on a contract basis (for questions about the cost of a contract in the MAPE ISM IUK residency, call 996.708.888.146 – Residency Department).
- Residents are enrolled based on the results of entrance tests. Training is conducted in Russian or English languages.
Documents to be submitted upon admission to residency:
-application addressed to the Rector;
-passport (copy);
– passport with the appropriate visa (copies)-for foreign citizens);
-a copy of the university diploma;
-an academic transcript is provided, when transferring from another medical school;
-personnel sheet;
-resident’s record card;
-autobiography;
-health certificate of the established form;
-two 3×4 photos;
-document confirming the knowledge of Russian language at a sufficient level (for foreign citizens) (the level is not lower than the basic level testing (A-2);
– military ID (presented personally);
-employment record (presented personally);
