Propaedeutic surgery is one of the basic disciplines that lays the foundations for the study of surgical activity, which are necessary for any clinician, regardless of his further specialization. It combines the most important theoretical and clinical foundations of surgery. A modern doctor in his practical activity needs orientation in the basic issues of propaedeutic surgery, knowledge of the issues of emergency diagnosis of acute purulent surgical diseases and injuries, the ability to provide emergency care for various severe conditions. After an analytical study of the general issues of surgery, a synthetic study of the basics of clinical surgery becomes possible. The acquisition of skills in clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination of the patient, knowledge of the main syndromes significantly facilitates the subsequent development of other sections of clinical medicine.

Classroom classes: 5th semester- 54 hours , 6th semester- 54 hours.

AMC Propedeutic surgery

Pediatric surgery is a branch of surgery focused on the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and postnatal pathologies and malformations in children, as well as acquired diseases and various injuries requiring surgery or correction.

Total labor intensity: 4 credits. (120 hours)

Classroom classes: 6th semester- 36 hours, 7th semester- 36 hours.

Independent work of students: 6th semester – 24 hours, 7th semester – 24 hours.

AMC Pediatric Surgery

Surgical diseases is an academic discipline containing systematic scientific knowledge and techniques in the fields of general surgery and private surgical pathology. The curriculum for the academic discipline “Surgical diseases” is aimed at studying the latest scientific data on the main sections of surgical diseases, developing clinical thinking, acquiring surgical and general medical skills, mastering the ethical and deontological aspects of the medical profession.

Total labor intensity: 10 credits (300 hours),

7 semester -7 credit. (210 hours), 8th semester -3 credits. (90 hours)

Classroom classes: 7th semester -126 hours, 8th semester -54 hours.

Independent work of students: 7th semester -84 hours, 8th semester -36 hours.

Oncology is a branch of medicine that studies benign and malignant tumors, the mechanisms and patterns of their occurrence and development, methods of their prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
